Are you ready to Shed your S#@!?

I know that I certainly am. As spring arrives, I’m ready to feel lighter. I’m ready to shed some puffiness. I’m ready to shed a persistent blocked nose. I’m ready to shed winter lethargy. I’m ready to shed the excuses.

But it’s too hard on my own. I cut out dairy and then find myself having a cappuccino. I decide to do a morning routine and then find myself rushing into the day without pausing to ground myself. I decide to decrease my sugar and it all goes well until 4pm when I find myself reaching for the chocolate coated digestive biscuits. A few times.

And so, we designed the Spring Shed. And we hope you will join us.

What is the Spring Shed?

The Spring Shed is a 2-week detox and resetting programme followed by a 2 week realignment programme. In the 2-week detox you can cut out as much or as little as you like of sugar, gluten, alcohol, caffeine and anything else you want to shed. We will help with delicious, healthful alternatives and by doing this together in a supportive community. We also use dōTERRA essential oil protocols to help support the detox. We find this makes a significant difference and we have a great kit that we suggest (if you don’t yet have oils), or will guide you as to which oils to use if you do already have oils. You can also do the whole programme without oils too – it’s entirely up to you and not a prerequisite.

All this will be explained further in our introductory call TOMORROW EVENING – Tuesday 5 September – at 7.30pm on ZOOM which will also be recorded for those who can’t make it live.

The second 2 weeks is a focus on healthy habit stacking for future – tools to flatten our glucose curves and spikes, to add life to your years and lightness to your days.

How do we do this?

We run the Spring Shed as an interactive WhatsApp group where we post visuals, short videos and lots of inspiration. These are of recipes, food ideas, short mindfulness practices (5 – 10 min), a mindful movement practice that you can do as and when suits you, breathwork practices which are useful for the whole family and so much more. There are no live sessions other than the intro session (see above and below) and that is recorded. So you can do this in your own time and do as much or as little as you like but we’ll be giving you guidelines and guidance along the way!

How much time is involved?

Very little. We all live busy lives, and this Spring Shed fits into and around our lives. It involves conscious choices around what we chose to eat and how we chose to spend our time but the actual practices and recipes take very little time.

We start on Monday 11 September and the detox runs for the first 2-weeks. We then realign for the next 2 weeks creating changes and habits that are easy to sustain going forward and we end on Sunday 8 October. Doors close late Friday 8 September so that payments can be made and processed and you can be added to the WhatsApp group and be sent the prep info for our start on Monday 11 September.

And what if you’re away? Have a wedding or birthday or function? What if you’ve got something big going on at work? This is still for you – life never stops and we have to create health, joy, breathing space and lightness in our lives despite what is going on. And this Shed will help you to create exactly this. We will explain more on the ZOOM call so come join us for that or ask for the recording.

What does it cost?

Your investment in yourself for the month is R600 or invite an accountability buddy and pay R1000 for both of you (must be done in ONE payment)

Who are “we”?

“We” are myself – Nicola Aylward – a physiotherapist, mindfulness and breathwork practitioner and a Feminine Wisdom and women’s wellness educator.
